I knit, crochet, needle and shuttle tat, embroider, sew, etc. If you would like something specific that you don’t see, I do custom orders. All prices are based on materials and the amount of work that goes into a specific project. Most pieces are unique and will never be recreated.
Most of the pieces I put in the shop are made from simple patterns to keep the cost down, but I am capable of more elaborate items if you would like such a thing.
I come from a crafty background. My father was a potter for many years, and I used to love spending time in his studio creating all sorts of “interesting” things. Sadly, in my high school ceramics course, I realized that my talent does not lie in this area.
I attended a small private college where I worked towards a degree in Theatre Arts focusing on Costume Design. I miss the days of being given challenges such as creating a baby mammoth and dinosaur in three weeks. Since my sewing machine has retired from theatre work, I try to spend my time using my textile and tactile talents to create unique pieces for people’s homes and lives.
