My name is Anna and I have been crafting all of my life. My mom taught me to sew at an early age on my Grandma’s Singer treadle machine. Much of my time growing up was spent making clothes for myself, including all my prom dresses, and even a very fancy burgundy velvet coat! I majored in ceramics and design in college and worked for years as a studio potter and pottery instructor, until my children came along and I no longer had hours and hours to play in the mud. They are grown now, but instead of going back to the potter’s wheel I spend my crafting time at the sewing machine and bead table. My favorite things to make these days are purses and totes, beaded jewelry, and accessories. I also enjoy quilting and incorporating quilting techniques in my designs.

Everything is made by me in my smoke-free cat-friendly home, both original in design and one-of-a-kind with the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. For me, the use of lovingly handmade objects enriches our daily lives and keeps the traditional crafts alive and thriving. I hope that something I’ve made with my hands will find its way to yours!
